FBI Chicago Citizens Academy Alumni Association 2nd Annual Coats for Kids project! –
Chicago & Rockford While we aren’t ready to think about another cold and snowy Chicago winter, it won’t be long before we need to put on our winter coats. Sadly, many local children will face this coming winter season without a winter coat. The FBI Chicago Citizens Academy Alumni Association has once again partnered with Operation Warm® with the goal to provide a new, warm winter coat to the students at two area schools. This year we’ve selected Charles Evans Hughes Elementary School of Chicago’s North Lawndale, with 277 students and Beyer Elementary in Rockford, with 215 students. How can you help? A single donation of $20.00 will provide a coat to a child! But why stop there? Share this worthy community outreach project with your professional organizations, family members and friends. Post on your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media sites. Ask your employer if they offer a gift matching program. Click Here to see if your employer will match your gift.
Please help us generate awareness! All donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be provided.
Please join us for a private screening of the recently produced video “The Proud History of the Chicago FBI”, hosted by retired FBI Special Agent Ross Rice. This 40-minute film chronicles the history of the oldest and most storied office in the FBI, detailing some of the many milestones of this historic institution. Narrated by Chicago Citizens Academy graduates Andrea Darlas and Steve Cochran, this video honors the FBI professionals that came before today’s leaders and gives us a glimpse into the past. Come to network, come to learn, and come to enjoy an evening with colleagues at the beautiful Hilton Chicago. We hope to see you there!
